Brussels, Belgium July 2022

After finishing an 18 day cruise on the Danube River from Romania through to Germany we flew to Brussels for a few days to visit my sister who lives there. We rented a very nice Airbnb in Uccle near the Forest municipality of the Brussels-Capital Region. This was a very nice area with several nice restaurants, bars, grocery stores and a nice park all within easy walking distance.

I have three sets of photos. The first is buildings and street scenes near where we stayed and which were taken on my several walks exploring the area. The second is Duden Park and Jardin Essentiel (Essential Garden) and the third are some photos I took at the Saint-Gilles Communal Cemetery which I took later in the year when I returned to Brussels for my sister’s funeral.
