WELCOME TO MY PHOTO ALBUM

I have been an avid amateur photographer for many years and because of my work, have had the opportunity to travel to many different countries. Over the years I have used a number of methods to share my photos with family and friends and this web page is an attempt to widen the circle of viewers.

In 1992 I moved from Canada to Singapore and at that time a good friend of mine suggested I write down some of my impressions of the Asian countries I would be visiting while living there. I took up that suggestion and a number of these write-ups have been included in this web site.

What started out as a two year assignment in Singapore ended up being more than six years. This extended stay enabled my wife and I to travel extensively throughout Asia and has instilled in both of us a great love of travel. Following Singapore we lived in Texas for 1 ½ years, Scotland for two years, back to Texas for a year and finally returned to Canada in 2004. We have met many wonderful people on this journey and are privileged to have friends all around the world.

I hope you are able to get some pleasure from this site and my apologies up front if I have made any mistakes with names, places etc. I am open to comments and suggestions on how to make improvements in the presentation, or correct navigation problems and browser related issues.
